I received a free copy of this book through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
The only reason I rated this work three stars was the artwork. It was stunning and the dream sequences were my favorite out of all the panels. Unfortunately, the story was a letdown compared to the artwork. The entire story felt rushed and unpolished. There was never any real tension, perhaps because we really never get to know any of the characters and what motivates them. Events unfolded without any rhyme or reason. The ending was very anti-climatic with everything wrapped up way too nice and neat. If only the quality of the story telling had matched the quality of the artwork.
