Just as good as the novel.
I received a free copy of this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
I first read The Seven-Per-Cent Solution some years ago in novel form. I quite enjoyed the story, so when I saw that it was a graphic novel, I just knew I had to get ahold of a copy. This graphic novel, while made shorter by necessity, remains faithful to the original story. In some cases, the graphic novel works better than the original source material. Though it's been some years since I last read the original, I do remember it dragged in some spots, the graphic novel does not suffer the same pacing issues. The artwork is amazing, though I will note, Mycroft as he is drawn, doesn't match up with how I imagined him. This graphic novel easily earned it's four stars. Now I just need to find a copy of the movie version.
