2016 Halloween Bingo Reading List

Read by candlelight or flashlight: The Faint of Heart by Jeff Strand (Ebook)

Magical Realism: Anansi Boys by Neil Gaiman (Hardcover)

Witches: Revenge of the Witch by Joseph Delaney (Ebook) - I eventually want to finish this series, but I need to go back and refresh my memory so this was an easy choice.

Genre: Horror: Pressure by Jeff Strand (Library)

Black Cat: File Under: 13 Suspicious Events by Lemony Snicket (Hardcover) - The cover has a black cat on it and after going through my entire library (physical and ebook), it's the only one I have that fits for this square.

Diverse author can be spooky fun: Ring by Kōji Suzuki (Paperback) - One of the only two books for this bingo I actually bought. I could have gone with John Saul; I have loads of his books, but I've also read them multiple times and I'm trying not to do too many re-reads for this.

Ghost Stories and Haunted Houses: Scary Mary by S.A. Hunter (Ebook)

YA Horror: The Monstrumologist by Rick Yancey (Paperback)

Scary Woman (Authors): We Have Always Lived in the Castle by Shirley Jackson (Paperback) - This is another re-read.

Reads with (Booklikes) Friends: Vision with Grimlock and others.

Grave or Graveyard: The Curse of the Bane by Joseph Delaney (Ebook) - Once again a re-read.

Genre: Mystery: The Cater Street Hangman by Anne Perry (Paperback)

Freespace: Reaper Man by Terry Pratchett (Paperback) - Another re-read, but this is the first book that popped into my head for a Halloween Bingo.

Gothic: The Monk by Matthew Gregory Lewis (Library)

Creepy Crawlies: Monster Hunter International by Larry Correia (Ebook) - This might change. I also had Sabriel in mind, but I've already read the series three times and I do want to branch out a little more.

"Fall" into a good book: The Legend of Sleepy Hollow and Other Macabre Tales by Washington Irving (Hardcover)

Locked Room Mystery: The Mystery of the Yellow Room by Gaston Leroux (Ebook)

It was a dark and stormy night: I have no idea for this square. If anybody has any suggestions, I would love to hear them.

Set in New England: Cujo by Stephen King (Paperback) - This might be a re-read. I vaguely recall reading this when I was ten, but I might be thinking of another Stephen King book.

Full moon: Boy's Life by Robert McCammon (Paperback) - The copy I have has a full moon on it.

Vampires vs Werewolves: Soulless by Gail Carriger (Library) - This will most likely change. This was the first book my sister suggested when I asked for a book to fill this slot. It looks kind of interesting, but I also don't really want to start another series.

Supernatural: Deathnote: Volume 1 by Tsugumi Ohba (Paperback) - I decided not to take the easy way out and I skipped my Supernatural collection.

Classic Horror: The Woman in White by Wilkie Collins (Ebook)

Pumpkin: Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (Illustrated Edition) by J.K. Rowling (Hardcover) - Yes, another re-read, but the new edition is coming out in October; it was clearly meant to be.

Set on Halloween: Not On My Patch by Diane Duane from the Interim Errantry collection (Paperback)
